Job Summary
AECOM is seeking an energetic and highly motivated self-starter to join our
Cost management team in Sydney as a Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager. You will
be responsible for providing quantity surveying and cost management services
on some Australia|s most iconic and challenging projects- giving you the
opportunity to further develop your career. We have a growing team cost
management team that both supports AECOM|s internal groups and also provides
external Clients cost consulting advice.
Responsibilities will include- but are not limited to:
Cost planning and estimating throughout the design phase;
Construction phase cost management services;
Cash flow forecasting;
Assisting with feasibility studies- capital cost advice;
Life-cycle costing;
Preparation and evaluation of Risk Registers;
Striving for excellence in client service delivery in all aspects of a project life cycle.
This role is ideal for a highly driven professional who is looking to continue
to grow their QS skills- working on a range of projects learning from a team
of specialist consultants
Minimum Requirements
4-8 years| relevant professional experience;
Consulting experience – essential;
BIM measurement skill would be an advantage
Demonstrated skills in managing project costs and budgets.
Relevant tertiary qualification;
Working knowledge of MS Suite – Essential;
Medium to High Level knowledge of CostX- desirable.
Infrastructure experience – desirable
