Location

This iconic Resort is situated between the renowned Great Barrier Reef and the
Daintree Rainforest in Tropical North Queensland. The resort comprises 295
guest rooms| suites and villas.

Department

Working within our friendly and professional Front Office Team| this position
to the Duty Manager/ Front Office Manager. This position will be initially
working on the night shift but flexibility is required to adapt working hours
to operational requirements of both morning/afternoon/night shift.

Responsibilities include and are not limited to:

•Providing all guests at the resort with a superior| personalised and
memorable experience by greeting and assisting guests with any
query/requirements in a professional and timely manner

•Taking ownership for any guest issues or queries and working collaboratively
with the rest of the Front Office team and other areas of the resort to
resolve them in a timely and effective manner

•Handling telephone queries professionally and in line with resort
requirements

•Ensure the guest|s privacy is maintained at all times.

•Ability to work flexible rosters including weekends

Preferred applicants will have valid working rights to work in Australia.
Sponsorship will not be available for this position.

The successful applicant will have:

•A positive ‘can-do’

•A flexible approach with the ability to identify and successfully implement
new initiatives and problem-solving solutions

•A collaborative and open communication style

•Experience of working with a Property Management System – preferably Opera
(mandatory)

•High school certificate or equivalent qualification (required) with Tertiary
qualifications (desirable)

•Experience in similar role within an International standard 4 or 5 star Hotel
(desirable)
