Location
This iconic Resort is situated between the renowned Great Barrier Reef and the
Daintree Rainforest in Tropical North Queensland. The resort comprises 295
guest rooms| suites and boutique self contained villas.
Maintenance Officer’s responsibilities include and are not limited to:
Attends to repairs and maintenance of all systems and related equipment of a minor nature based on skill level.
Responsible for guest requests for repairs to guestrooms.
Responsible for replacing all faulty lamps within the Hotel as per daily checklist.
Carrying out repairs to public areas based on individuals technical knowledge and experience.
Responsible for performing “RPM” – room preventative maintenance program.
Perform general and emergency repairs and maintenance to all plant and equipment based on skill and experience level.
Carry out regular inspections of plant and equipment as per the daily checklist.
Carry out plant preventative maintenance inspections as per computerised system.
Attends to repairs or maintenance of all bathroom / toilet fixtures throughout hotel.
Cleans all storm water drains including building gutters to ensure blockages do not occur.
Preferred applicants will require valid working rights to work in Australia. Sponsorship will not be available for this position
Requirements
To be successful in this position you will need to possess the following
minimum requirements:
High school certificate or equivalent qualification
Trade Qualified (desirable)
12 months in a similar role.
First Aid Certificate (desirable)
Blue / White Construction Workers Qld Card
Basic Computer Skills
